Extended Release Naltrexone (ER Naltrexone, aka Vivitrol) is a powerful anti-craving and relapse prevention medication used for Alcohol and Opiate use disorders. Many of our clients have benefited from its use and appreciate that it is completely non-opiate based and non-addictive.

Some of the articles below are specific to Alcohol or Opiates, which makes sense, as the considerations for its use may be significantly different for each of these. For example, starting ER Naltrexone with an opiate dependent person requires detoxification before hand, while this is not the case for an alcohol dependent person.
